The makeshift memorial to Daphne Caruana Galizia at the foot of the Great Siege Monument was cleared for the umpteenth time on Sunday-Monday night, even as the murder investigation rocks the government.

The memorial was cleared of candles, flowers and pictures just hours after hundreds of people paused before it during a protest by civil society groups in Valletta.
