Cash was stolen on Sunday evening when two hooded men armed with a knife held up an outlet in Zejtun.

The police said on Monday that the hold-up took place at Bishop Emm Galea Street at 8pm.

The money was taken from two cashiers - women aged 25 and 40. They were unhurt.

Magistrate Elaine Mercieca is holding an inquiry.
