A Qawra man has been charged with exchanging currencies when he did not have a licence.

Magistrate Saviour Demicoli heard Joseph Portelli plead not guilty to carrying out the commercial activity without a licence on and before November 2003.

Police Inspector Christopher Pullicino prosecuted.

Lawyers José Herrera and Joseph Giglio appeared for Mr Portelli.
