A 63-year-old cyclist was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital after being hurt in a traffic accident in Luqa.

The police said the accident took place at 5pm on Triq Hal Qormi.

It involved the cyclist, from Żurrieq, and a Hyundai vehicle driven by a 59-year-old woman from Mosta.
