The health authorities have urged people not to swim at the (ironically called) Qui-Si-Sana beach in Sliema because of a sewage overflow.

The warning was issued for the area described as being 'below the stairs'.

The Environmental Health Directorate said the warning is until further notice. Officials from the directorate are investigating the issue.
