A 44-year-old man was seriously injured in a traffic collision in Gozo early on Wednesday.

The police said the crash involved a Ford Transit and an Isuzu KB which crashed on Mgarr Road at 7am.

The injured man, who is from Xewkija, was driving the Isuzu.

The police are investigating.
