A  73-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured when he crashed into a parked car in Birżebbuġa on Wednesday morning.

The police said the accident happened at 6am when the elderly Birżebbuġa resident was driving his Piaggio in Triq Birżebbuġa.

He lost control and crashed into Ford Fiesta.
