A 77-year-old woman was seriously injured on Sunday afternoon when she fell a height of a storey-and-a-half.

The police said the accident took place in the common area of a block of flats in Agatha Barbara Street, Zabbar at 3.45pm.

A magisterial inquiry is being held by Magistrate Yana Micallef Stafrace.
