After trying their freephone number several times to no avail, I tried calling another number at Enemalta to enquire what I should do to cover ancient copper electric wires hooked to my façade in order to restore it. A polite female voice told me that I should fill in a form and pay Lm10 for the service. Moreover the covers will only be there for 14 days, then they would be removed.

I wonder why we should pay for our safety when such ancient uncovered electricity wires should not even exist in the first place?
