Four kilos of heroin with street value of €150,000 found in suitcase at airport

The bag belonged to a man who had just landed from Frankfurt

Four kilos of heroin, which the police said had a street value of €150,000, were discovered in a man's suitcase at the Malta International Airport.

The man, a 45-year-old Polish national, was arrested at the airport when he landed from Frankfurt.

Police investigations and a magisterial inquiry are ongoing.
