A contestant taking part in the popular game show Deal or No Deal clinched the record cash prize of €25,000 during a recording of the programme.

The winner was not yet named but host Pablo Micallef said that the contestant was the toughest player ever, remaining focused throughout the game.

Producer Angie Laus said that the lucky winner would be known sometime this week during the programme that is aired from Monday to Friday at 6.45 p.m. on TVM.
