April 1’s On the Dot was not much of an April Fools’ Day for us here at Costa Coffee, in Mrieħel, when we awoke to read a vague piece about a “renowned coffee shop” in the area that “leaves much to be desired”, both in terms of product and service.

For a split second we worried that the author might be talking about us but we were pleased to have the details quickly cleared up by senior editorial people at the Times of Malta, who assured us we were not the establishment being called into question.

This was reassuring, not just because we would hate to think that our clientele were unsatisfied by their time with us but also because this confirms that our in-store customer survey showing that “98.8 per cent of our customers are happy with our offering” is accurate. Having said that, we are always happy to listen to customer feedback as we feel it is the oil that keeps our engines running. We encourage people to send us any feedback on info@costamalta.com.

With that in mind, we would like to remind readers there is another coffee shop and catering establishment for them to consider, other than the one mentioned in On the Dot. As always, we remain eager to provide top-quality products, friendly service and short waiting times and look forward to welcoming clients.
