Foreign Minister Ian Borg has had talks in South Korea with that country's foreign minister Park Jin.

The foreign ministry said they discussed areas of growth in bilateral relationsand activity in the United Nations Security Council. The Republic of Korea will be joining the council next year.   

Borg also met the Vice Minister for Trade, Industry and Energy, Kang Kyungsung for talks on tourism and trade relations. They also discussed collaboration in the technological sector.
