Razzett tal-Ħbiberija's first EU co-funded project, the Inclusive ICT Training and Development Programme, drew to a close a year from its launch.
Professions in the field and the public attended a closure seminar at the Hilton's Portomaso Suite recently to study the results of the project.
Two foreign speakers were invited to share their experience in similar projects held in the UK. They were Caroline Gray, an occupational therapist by profession and director of the Ace Centre in Sussex, UK, and Richard Allcroft, who offers advice to freshly injured patients at the Stanmore Spinal Unit through Aspire Centre.
Razzett tal-Ħbiberija offers a variety of services free of charge to persons with a disability. All those individuals wishing to improve the way they access their personal computer or who would like to explore computer accessibility for the first time are encouraged to call the Razzett ICT Lab on 2136 3526 or e-mail computerlab@razett.org.
