Allow me to thank all those concerned for the recent and much-needed road repairs at St Paul’s Bay.

Perhaps the local council can explain to the long-suffering residents (and soon-to-be-voters) of St Paul’s Bay why councillors failed to attend the meetings when they meant to debate the contracts for refuse collection, public toilets servicing, road and pavement repairs and other necessary services, leaving the locality literary in shambles.

Why did one of the present council members walk out just before the debate?

The councillors were fully aware that if they did not attend there will not be a quorum to confirm such contracts. So why are these people hellbent on hurting/destroying the local council and the locality it serves?

Localities should come first and foremost.
