I have always been an avid fan of the sitcom 'Allo 'Allo, which ran between 1982 and 1992. It made compulsive viewing as it had everything mixed in the bowl of war.

As soon as it was made known that the show was being put on at the Manoel Theatre, I duly booked and was lucky to be present for the first night.

Well what a feast of laughter it was; the cast from FM Theatre were absolutely superb. I go as far as saying that the standard of comedy was of the highest quality.

This could be judged by the continuous raptures of laughter from the audience during the performance.

It was all so refreshing and therapeutic - laughter is the best cure for any ailment and I left the theatre feeling totally recharged with the feel-good factor.
