A seminar on how the setting up of a Malta Development Bank could play a key role in leveraging EU funds for Malta was held at the Grand Hotel in Għajnsielem. The event, attended by the Gozo business community, including  project promoters, start-ups and business-men interested in EU funding and investment opportunities, presented the latest developments from an EU and Malta Development Bank perspective, together with practical experiences in leveraging EU funding by the Hungarian Development Bank and the Bank of Valletta.

The main speaker was Estelle Goger, team leader for the Investment Plan for Europe.

The seminar was organised by Bank of Valletta, the European Commission Representation in Malta, the Malta Development Bank and the Hungarian Development Bank in collaboration with the Gozo Business Chamber and the Malta Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise.
