Building on the success of last year’s denim Carryall bag design contest, Levi’s Malta has launched a new call, this time for the design of the classical yet legendary Trucker Jacket.
Open to all Malta-based creatives, nine artists and designers were shortlisted and invited to customise a Trucker Jacket, through any desired ‘application’.
The creatives selected to participate in this year’s contest are: Sarah Mifsud, Martin Gafa, Emma Fsadni, Sarah Falzon, Shannon Grech, Diane Psaila, Maria Cutajar, Mikaela Scholey and Francesca Grech.
Participating contestants range from young, emerging painters and illustrators to architects/designers, graphic artists and tattoo artists of repute. Each of their designs will be showcased during a one-night event at the Levi’s Store in Merchants Street, on Friday. Visitors and attendees will have the opportunity to vote for and contribute to the choice of the winning entry, to be announced on the night.
In addition, all those visiting the Valletta Levi’s Store on Friday will be able to benefit from 20 per cent off on any purchases made during the event. The Levi’s Trucker Jacket Contest Exhibition is strictly for those aged 18+.
