Substitute Ekundayo Jaieyoba scored in the second period of extra time to give champions Levski Sofia a 2-1 victory over Litex Lovech in the Bulgarian Super Cup on Thursday night. The Nigerian striker hit the target from the edge of the penalty area in the 109th minute.

French midfielder Cedric Bardon opened the scoring for Levski with a fine volley from a corner in the 13th minute and Brazilian striker Beto equalised in stoppage time to send the match into extra time.

Litex play Sliema Wanderers in the UEFA Cup first qualifying round, second leg, next Thursday. They start with a 3-0 lead after winning the tie at Ta' Qali's National Stadium.
