Glamorous, colourful and daring outfits were the order of the day at the Malta Fashion Week, held recently at Fort St Elmo in Valletta.
All the most important names in the local fashion world, such as influencers and personalities together with international guests, attended the 10-day extravaganza, which included various fashion and hair shows.
The event culminated with the Malta Fashion Awards, which saw thousands of guests congregated at Piazza Tritoni on May 31.
Malcolm Gauci won the fashion stylist award, Bojana Milojevic received the female model title, while Katrina Pavia took home the female photo model award.
Matthew B. Spiteri won the photographer category, Jean Paul Zammit was proclaimed the best make-up artist and Neville Roman Zammit got the hairstylist award.
The male model category went to Benoit Bartolo, while the male photo model award was taken by Kurt Pisani.
Sarah Zerafa nabbed the fashion influencer title and Stella Cini won the beauty influencer category.
Photographer Bernard Polidano won a lifetime award for his contribution to the fashion industry.
The night included a fashion show featuring brands Elisabetta Franchi and Paul&Shark, imported by Dizz Group, a performance by Maxine Pace ‒ who debuted her new single Cool Like U ‒ and a number of artistic hair shows by the nominated hairstylists.
The Malta Fashion Week was sponsored by Land Rover Jaguar and supported by Fashion TV Gaming Group.
The Malta Fashion Awards was sponsored by Coca Cola and supported by MedAsia Cabs. Other main sponsors included Aldo, Airmalta, the Malta Tourism Authority, Keune, Hilton and Fashion Vodka.
Local designers were supported by the Creative Partnership Agreement, while the international designers were supported by the Valletta Cultural Agency.
