Archbishop Charles Scicluna will preside over a Holy Chrism mass this morning as Catholics all over the world mark Maundy Thursday.

The Chrism mass manifests the unity of priests with their bishop, with the latter blessing three oils which will be used to administer the sacraments throughout the year.

Times of Malta will be live streaming the various Holy Week celebrations from St John's Co-Cathedral. Mass of the Lord's supper will be streamed this evening at 6.30pm.

Watch the Holy Chrism celebration in the HD live stream above. The mass begins at 9am.
