Malta Boxing Commission removes president

Alexander Zammit has been removed from president of the Malta Boxing Commission.

In a statement this evening, the commission said it had to take its decision because Mr Zammit had disregarded a due diligence on two applications for promoter licences.

He also failed to inform a senior member of the commission of a special general meeting, at which important appointments were made, it said.
