The Malta U-17 national team will be taking part in the UEFA Championship qualifying tournament that is being on our islands between Wednesday and Tuesday.

The Malteses youngsters were drawn in Group 8 and will be up against Spain, North Macedonia and Slovakia, with all matches being played at the Centenary Stadium.

Malta will open their campaign on Wednesday when they face Spain and then take on Slovakia Saturday.

The Maltese youngsters, under the charge of coach Francesco Macri, will complete their group commitments on Tuesday, October 31 when they face North Macedonia.

The tournament is not only a platform for these young talents to showcase their skills but also a crucial step in their footballing careers.
