A team of five Maltese engineers are dismantling an aircraft that has been grounded for a fortnight after it made an emergency landing in Kiwawu, Mityana, Uganda two weeks ago.

The aircraft, a passenger plane chartered by the US army, made an emergency landing due to fuel shortage on July 17.

It was carrying nine US marines.
