Jesmond Magro, together with his wife Joanne and their daughter Grazia, of Żabbar, members of the Disciples of Jesus Community and leaders of cells of evangelisation, have been chosen to represent the International Organism at the Service of the Parish Cells of Evangelisation (IOSPCE) during the IX World Meeting of Families being held in Dublin.

The meeting consists of three parts: first the Congress of Families on the theme of ‘The Joy of Love’; then the Festival of Families which over 80,000 people from all over the world are expected to attend; and a concluding Mass celebrated by Pope Francis. Different international movements, associations, communities and methods of service and outreach to families will be sharing their family experiences from different stands.

The Magros, who can speak various languages, will be meeting people to share their experience in the cells of evangelisation and to give information on the parish cells of evangelisation and the international organism, which has been recognised by the Holy See three years ago to promote this method of parish evangelisation in the Catholic Church.
