A Maltese citizen was mugged in the North Macedonia capital of Skopje on Saturday, 21.com news website has reported, quoting the country's Home Affairs Ministry.

It said the incident happened shortly before midnight.

The man, a resident of  Skopje, was attacked by four people in the Katlanova Spa. He suffered a stab wound with a sharp tool and was robbed.
