The police are looking for a car involved in a hit-and-run in Mosta, following a traffic accident in which a man was grievously injured.

The police said in a statement the man, a 66-year-old from Naxxar, was hit on Triq il-Bidnija, Mosta, at 6.15am. 

Police investigations are ongoing.
