A Syrian man was seriously injured when an argument got out of hand in Marsalforn, the police said.

The argument, in Triq il-Port early on Sunday morning, involved two Poles and two Syrians. All are in their twenties.

The injured 23-year-old Syrian was taken to Gozo hospital. The others also needed medical treatment. 

The police are investigating.
