A 21-year-old Birkirkara resident suffered grievous injuries after losing control of his motorcycle Kawazaki Ninja and falling off it in Marsa on Saturday.

The accident took place at 6.30am on Triq Aldo Moro and the man was taken to Mater Dei hospital.

A police investigation is ongoing.
