Six scenes of the musical Mary Poppins were performed recently in the Convent of the Sacred Heart Junior School auditorium in St Julians.

All 172 girls in Year 5 and Year 6 were involved in the production, whether as actors, dancers, choir or backstage.

Besides promoting and celebrating the children's talents, the concert was a learning experience about teamwork, co-operation, and commitment for all students.

Parents produced the costumes and props while class teachers and activity teachers were responsible for the concert's overall production.
