The overlying floors shall be used by the institute for administration and teaching purposes housing IT laboratories/classrooms, four offices, a boardroom, meeting rooms, staffrooms and a plant room.
The shape of the building complements the Mcast Resource Centre and the main plaza.
The college said attention has been given to the design, focusing on the ease of mobility of the students and campus users through the creation of paths.
At the rear side of this building, an outdoor garden and a recessed plaza have been included in the design, providing natural light and ventilation to the rooms located at basement level whilst creating a semi-private study zone for students.
The building has been designed to be compartmentalised in two separate blocks to allow for better security while providing flexibility of resources.
