George Gatt Mangion, well known for his organisation of the Miss Malta shows, has passed away, aged 78.

Mr Mangion was the founder of GM Productions along with his wife Margaret, who passed away a year ago.

They are survived by their daughter Joan and her husband Ivan Parascandolo and grandchildren Michael and Matthew.

The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 2 p.m. for St Peter’s parish church, Birżebbuġa, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m.,
