A 39-year-old motorcyclist was grievously injured in a traffic accident in Marsascala on Thursday.

The police said the accident happened in Triq Sant’Antnin at 7.55am.

The victim, who is from Żabbar, was riding a Kymco that was involved in a collision with a Peugeot 206 that was being driven by a 25-year-old woman from Marsascala.

He was taken to hospital by ambulance.

The police are investigating.
