A 25-year-old man was grievously injured on Sunday in a traffic accident in Naxxar.

The police said the accident happened in the Coast Road at 10.30am.

The man, who is Hungarian, lost control of the Kymco he was riding and this overturned.

The victim was given first aid by a medical team on site.

The police are investigating.
