A unique opportunity to network with some 1,500 of the world’s top business leaders awaits the Malta winners of the 2019 EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Both the winner of the main award and the winner of the Rising Star award will travel to Monaco later this year for the EY World Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
This is the third year in which EY Malta is participating in the EY World Entrepreneur of the Year programme. The programme now runs in 165 cities and regions in over 60 countries and is the world’s biggest and most prestigious business award for entrepreneurs.
The final event in Monaco brings together the national winners from all these countries, selected from a pool of over 5,000 nominees. While the winner of the EY Malta Entrepreneur of the Year will also be competing for the global award, the networking opportunities for both Malta winners will be priceless.
2018 EY Malta Rising Star Award winner Shane Hunter, who is managing partner at the AquaBioTech Group, said: “The awards event in Monaco was very cleverly linked to an EY networking and business conference over two days where I was able to attend a number of sessions and listen and learn from other entrepreneurs, as well as EY specialists from all over their network. The experience was amazing and one that I really appreciated as it gave me a unique insight into many other businesses from across the world.”
