St George's Bay is once again fit for swimming, the health authorities said.

Bathers were advised to avoid the bay in September after the health authorities detected EColi in the water.

But in a statement on Friday, the Superintendence of Public Health said repeated sampling in the past confirmed that the bay is once again fit for bathing.

The health warning was, therefore, lifted.
