Olivia Lewis is completing the last leg of her promotion tour before next month's Eurovision Song Contest in Finland, and considering she hates airports she's been taking it in her stride.
"I do not wish to sound repetitive. But, I hate airports. I woke up at 4 a.m. - not even the birds had woken up. I could hear them chirping angrily at the noise I was making in the process of repacking my flight bag for the zillionth time this month," she remarked on her latest blog entry.
Despite having her flight to Brussels airport cancelled, she handled it well and finally made it to her interviews, albeit a bit tired.
Her day ended at D-Club in Antwerp where she performed her song Vertigo together with three other Eurovision contestants, namely Kenan Dogulu from Turkey, Dmitry Koldun from Belarus and Marija Sestic from Bosnia Herzegovina.
Right after she was back on a plane to Hilversum where she was invited to appear on a very popular Netherlands television show, before returning to Malta today.
In the meantime, her website, www.olivialewis.net, has been shortlisted for the Best Artist Website Award, chosen as one of the favourites by thousands of people who voted in the Eurowebby Awards. These awards go to the best Eurovision-related sites. The winner of each category will be decided through a public vote and the results will be announced on May 5.
