The exterior of the Oratory of the Onorati abutting the Jesuit Church oratory is rather austere. At the northern end are two large high level windows with simple frames and a flat cornice above the lintel and a triangular pediment spanning across the façade. The corner is accentuated by a giant panelled pilaster with the statue of St Francis Borgia. The side elevation is bare except for three high level semi-circular windows at clerestory level and a small statue of the Virgin below the central window.

The interior consists of a three-bay nave and in contrast with the exterior, the wall surfaces are covered with sculptured reliefs and statues in niches. Fluted Corinthian attached pilasters alternate between niches and large paintings are all surrounded by decorative stone carvings. The main altar is adorned by two giant Corinthian fluted columns raised on double plinths and supporting an open segmental pediment. The altar is flanked by a further two statues and a pair of busts at attic level. The oratory also has a flat coffered ceiling and a marble floor.

There is a statue at the corner of the block occupied by the Jesuits' oratory and church and college of St Francis Borgia and a statue of the Virgin Mary above the oratory's doorway.

Mepa scheduled the Oratory of the Onorati and the statues of St Francis Borgia and the Virgin Mary as Grade 1 national monuments as per Government Notice number 276/08 in the Government Gazette dated March 28.
