This month, the Malta Council for Science and Technology will be organising a series of sectoral consultations as an input for the development of a strategic plan to guide its Research and Technological Development and Innovation (RTDI) policy. The first round of these consultations will focus on the following priority areas: energy, biotechnology and information and communications technologies.

Experts and researchers from the private and public sectors are invited to participate in these discussions. Their feedback is to focus on identifying potential niche areas for public-private sector RTDI investments based on current and emerging local needs and capacities.

The consultations will take place on Friday between 9.30 a.m. and 3.30 p.m. at Villa Bighi. Those interested in participating, should register for the event by e-mailing Jennifer Casingena Harper at More details will be provided on registration.
