An 82-year-old pedestrian was grievously injured when hit by a Jeep Renegade in Fgura on Wednesday.

The police said the accident happened on Triq is-Sur at around 7.15pm.

A 29-year-old man from the same locality was behind the wheel.

Police investigations are ongoing.
