A 14-year-old girl reported missing on Friday has been found safe and sound, the police said on Saturday morning.

Luana Borg, a 14-year-old girl, had last been seen on December 8 at around 3pm close to a cinema in Buġibba.

In a statement on Saturday, the police said that the teenager was safe. They thanked the public for their help in tracking her down.
