Ulrika Karlsson and Neil Datta, president and secretary of the European Parliamentary Forum on Population and Development, expressed their concern in their reports and findings on ‘Restoring the natural order: the religious extremists’ vision to mobilise European societies against human rights on sexuality and reproduction’.

In this report, The Life Network Foundation Malta together with other local pro-life movements came under a scathing attack. They were accused of hindering progress by their various campaigns to promote life.

I would like to ask: since when is one thwarting progress if one defends life?

No matter the economic growth in our country, if abortion, euthanasia and other life-threatening laws are enacted in Malta under such pressure from the EPF, we would become an impoverished nation indeed.
