Following their first foreign performance in Austria last summer, Red Electrick are currently on their mini-tour in Denmark.
“We have a total of 5 performances planned out for this mini-tour and we’re very excited,” Peter Borg, lead guitar player said.
Last December the band won “The Best Newcomer ‘ award at both the Malta Music awards and the Bay Music awards.
With four number one radio singles under their belt including the hit single “Who The Heck is Rek”, now synonymous with the band , ‘Red Electrick’ continued their journey and immediately starting working on their debut album.
“The album is in fact finalised and the master is off for printing at the Sony plant next week. I’m very excited about this album because it truly reflects what the band is all about without any compromises. We’ve had various talks in choosing the right tracks with the band and finally I can say we have a great record in our hands.” Howard Keith from Jagged House, Red Electrick’s management company said.
Following their mini-tour in Denmark , Red Electrick will be preparing for their highly awaited debut album entitled ’Vine lady’. The launch date is September 24 at Tattingers in Rabat, where the band will be performing all their album as well as a few surprises. ‘Dolls for Idols’ will be guest band.
