Earlier this month I received a note from Maltapost informing me that an attempt was made to deliver a registered letter but no one was home.
I called Maltapost the following Monday, and explained that I could only collect the letter on Saturdays as I leave home early on weekdays. The customer care officer said a note would be attached to the registered letter so that it would not be returned to sender after three days and I could collect it on Saturday morning.
Come Saturday the letter had been returned and I was told at the local post office that no note had been found attached to it. They had no information about the letter except that it was from overseas. Thank you, Maltapost.
