On Thursday and Friday Remax Malta will be marking its 15th anniversary. To celebrate, the company has pulled out all stops to ensure that their team, associates, managers and franchise owners are provided with a memorable learning experience and are recognised for their contribution to the success of the company.

The first part of the event, which will be held over two days at the Radisson Blu Golden Sands, will be dedicated to presentations on the company’s performance and strategy, and will be delivered by Remax Malta chairman Kevin Buttigieg and COO Jeffrey Buttigieg. Information related to the company’s property sales and letting statistics in 2018 will then be presented by regional general manager Joseph Theuma and regional lettings manager Edward Agius. The day will come to a close with a motivation talk by Nathan Farrugia, CEO of UpAcademy, followed by the presentation of performance certificates and a networking reception.

Day two will commence with a talk by Nathan Dart, an energising speaker, agent and coach who credits his career to his father – a former number one-ranked real estate agent. Together they founded Dart Homes, combining their years of experience with an entrepreneurial style that generates success. Mr Dart’s presentation will be followed by one by Jesse Peters – a pioneer in bringing video to real estate marketing. In it he will highlight why social media is one of the most transformative business development tools out there and show how, for six years, he has built a thriving real estate business exclusively on the various platforms.

Speaking about the event Kevin Buttigieg said: “Celebrating 15 years is a major milestone for Remax in Malta. We really wanted to give back to our fantastic people by organising something amazing, and by inviting some of the world’s best speakers and trainers to join us. Our international network gives us access to these phenomenal people, and it makes us very proud to be able to host them.”

The event’s last speaker will be Taylor Conroy – a social entrepreneur, ‘change hero’ and a meditating surfer obsessed with encouraging the building businesses to drive change. His first social enterprise, Change Heroes, mobilised people in 80 countries to build 400 schools, water projects and libraries, and helped to find girls scholarships and anti-sex trafficking work.

He is a four-time TEDx Speaker who has lectured at Harvard, Princeton, NYU, Cornell and the United Nations, and he has ultimately touched the lives of more than 200,000 people in developing nations. His talk will be on How to Win Millennials Over.

Finally, the Remax Malta Convention will culminate in an awards ceremony for the best performing people in the company, followed by a lavish reception. “This is an important milestone for us, and for everyone connected to us,” Mr Buttigieg adds. “We expect this year’s event to be better and more memorable than ever.”
