The feast of Saint John Bosco will be celebrated at the Don Bosco Oratory in Victoria between today and January 31.

A special Mass for the aged will be celebrated by Mgr George Tabone on January 25 at 5pm and another Mass for children will be celebrated by Fr Michael Said on January 26 at 5pm.

Fr Noel Saliba will celebrate Mass at the Don Bosco Oratory chapel between January 27 and 29 at 7pm. Peru missionary Fr Raymond Portelli will lead a prayer-meeting for youths, animated by singer Mario Caruana, on January 29 at 8pm.

On January 30, the archpriest of the Cathedral Parish, Mgr Joseph Sultana, will celebrate Mass at the oratory’s chapel at 7pm. The Mass will be followed by an all-night prayer vigil.

Gozo Bishop Anton Teuma will lead a concelebrated Mass at the Don Bosco Theatre auditorium on Sunday, January 31, at 9am.

Mgr Joseph Curmi, archpriest of Saint George’s parish basilica, will celebrate Mass at the oratory at 5.30pm. The Mass will be animated by the Laudate Pueri choir, under the direction of Canon George Frendo.

The Gozo Youth Wind Band will present the Don Bosco Grand Concert from the auditorium at 6.30pm.
