The imperious march of the men's and women's squash outfits in GSSE competition at the Marsa Sports Club continued yesterday with two other fine wins in the tournament for teams.

Malta are leading the standings in both round robin tournaments with three wins from as many matches. Yesterday the women's team added the scalp of Monaco to their list of victims after the successes of Wednesday against Luxembourg and Iceland. The men's team had the better of Liechtenstein 5-0.

When the same GSSE competition for women was last held in Liechtenstein '99, Malta were the undisputed champions of that edition.

Monaco were no match for the superior Maltese girls yesterday with Therese Camilleri again hitting fine form, forfeiting only one point in three games. The other players for Malta yesterday were Dianne Desira and Annabelle Diamantino.

The women's team plays its last match this afternoon against Liechtenstein who are currently second in the standings behind the hosts.

The men's team faces Liechtenstein as well in another decisive match which could determine the destination of the top two prizes.

The men's tournament comes to a close tomorrow.

Other results: (women) Monaco bt Iceland 2-1; (men) Cyprus bt Luxembourg 3-2; Liechtenstein bt Cyprus 5-0.
