A hooded man armed with a knife entered a grocery shop in Msida on Wednesday night threatening shopkeepers and demanding cash.

The police said the hold-up took at a grocery store in Triq San Lwiġi at 11pm.

The shop was being manned by two Indians aged 30 and 34.

The thief escaped with cash. No one was injured in the incident.

The police are investigating.
