A California man who lost $500,000 in 17 hours of gambling at a Las Vegas casino is claiming he was so drunk he could not remember the episode after waking up in his hotel room.

Mark Johnston, 52, has filed a a lawsuit against Downtown Grand casino saying he should not have been allowed to gamble while he was in that state.

He said he arrived drunk at the casino and was plied with free alcoholic drinks while he gambled.
