The motoryacht Serene, the 12th largest superyacht in the world, has arrived at the Palumbo dockyard in Malta for a refit.

The 134m yacht arrived in Malta early on Sunday.

"This yacht has been entrusted to us by a well renowned management company in the yachting sector with whom we have built a good long term relationship by refitting other yachts managed by the same company at our 'yards," Palumbo said.

The shipyard handles some 50 yachts every year.

Serene was built in 2011 by Fincantieri (Italy). It has a steel hull and aluminum superstructure and sleeps up to 24 guests in 15 staterooms, including a master suite, a VIP stateroom, 10 double cabins and one twin cabin.

The mega yacht is also capable of carrying up to 52 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

The yacht also features a gym, jacuzzi (on deck), lift, helicopter pad, tender garage, swimming pool, submarine hangar and a cinema.
